The F3 J Flange 2x4 and 2x6 repair kit (Patent Pending) can be used alongside (1 pc) or wrap around studs fastening from both sides (2 pcs) fastening securely using #14 x 1.5 standard torx fasteners or can be through bolted to sandwich and pull members together between two F3 brackets. The result is a structurally sound repair and reinforcement stronger than the original 2x4 or 2x6 and suitable for load bearing or non-load bearing walls, and 2x4 or 2x6 joist or truss member repair. Purchase one F3 or two in order to wrap around a 2x4 or 2x6. Kit includes fasteners, pilot drill, and Torx driver tip. Each #14 x 1.5" Torx T25 structural fastener has 1455 lbs shear and 2916 lbs tensile. The F3 itself is made of 10 Gauge (.141) G90 galvinized steel plate.
